Video: Ravel Morrison and Wilfried Zaha didn’t see eye to eye on the pitch last night

It wasn’t exactly Lee Bowyer and Kieron Dyer carry-on, but the two England U21 internationals had a public disagreement on the pitch last night during their rout of Lithuania.

It wasn’t exactly Lee Bowyer and Kieron Dyer carry-on, but the two England U21 internationals had a public disagreement on the pitch last night during their rout of Lithuania.

Considering they coasted to a 5-0 win, Morrison grabbed two goals including one sublime finish in a man of the match performance while Zaha ran him close, you would think there was little to get worked up over.

However the two had to be separated by Norwich midfielder Nathan Redmond as they clashed after a free-kick and the word petulant could well be used to describe it all. Stronger words also, but we’ll leave that to yerselves.

Morrison had earlier shown restraint in not getting involved in an incident with Brom’s Saido Berahino, but went head-to-head with the United player, leading to manager Gareth Southgate saying that the two must settle their differences. Are ye listening lads?

All of which overshadowed a cracking goal by Morrison to continue his impressive start to the season.
