Robbie doesn’t score that many from outside the box, but when he does they tend to be special.
The Irish skipper has scored hundreds of goals in his career for club and country to date, but we’d imagine that he’ll count this one up there with his best efforts as he cut in from the left hand side and sent a screamer into the far top corner to put the Galaxy ahead.
Robbie also added another goal later on (see below) in a 5-1 trouncing of New England Revolution and if he wouldn’t mind maintaining this sort of goalscoring form when the European qualifiers come around then that would be very much appreciated.
