Keane broke the deadlock midway through the first half in the LA Galaxy’s clash with Dallas last night with a cracking effort that helped the Galaxy break a streak of four games without a win.
Latching onto the ball in space around 30 yards out, Keane evaded the attention of three Dallas defenders with a quick shuffle of his feet before rifling the ball into the top corner with his left foot from the edge of the box.
A great strike surely, but have you ever seen Robbie Keane look as angry while celebrating a goal? Is this defiant celebration going to replace the cartwheel/gun shoot combo for the foreseeable future?
With Robbie in this type of mood and scoring this type of goal, Costa Rica and Portugal should be very afraid when taking on the Boys in Green in the States next month. Very afraid indeed.
