After watching Xabi Alonso embarrass Zinedine Zidane earlier and now this, we’re beginning to wonder if Real Madrid do anything but have the laugh at their training sessions.
We’re sure an awful lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes of course, but from the evidence we’ve seen today alone, the Real Madrid squad have a pretty good laugh during training and when some of the best and most skilful players in the world are involved, the potential for embarrassment is huge.
In what appears to be footage from the same training session in which Alonso nutmegged Zidane (sacrilegious, we know) Ronaldo, Bale and company engaged in more skilful and theatrical high-jinks in an exercise in which the aim seemed to be to get in as many no-look passes as possible.
We’d love to have a go ourselves to see how we’d fit in, even only for the opportunity to do this…
