You’ll remember Clint Dempsey from his stellar few seasons with Fulham in the Premier League a few years, he’s now plying his trade with Seattle Sounders in the MLS where he’s banging in the goals and he’s one of the main men for Jurgen Klinsmann’s side heading to Brazil.
Our point is that he’s a good footballer but what he’s not good at is rapping or to be more specific, freestyle rapping. He’s done it in the past and even made a music video but his latest attempt was woeful.
The American midfielder sat down with the Bleacher Report‘s Adam Lefkoe recently for a chat about the World Cup. During the course of the interview, Lefkoe decided it would be a good idea to start a rhyme about the USA’s group.
Lefkoe had clearly prepared his lyrics and he threw it over to Dempsey to take it on, a collaboration of sorts… What happened can only be described as the most cringe-inducing footage we’ve ever seen…
Stick to the day job Clint and never do anything like this again.
