Some of the Baggies players clearly can’t sing and others clearly couldn’t have been bothered, but once again our Shane’s musical talents have come to the fore.
Some Premier League football clubs have been putting a lot of effort into trying to get into Christmas spirit with a series of festive-themed video content in recent weeks, but whether it’s good or not all depends on the interest levels of the players involved.
It’s safe to say that they weren’t exactly high amongst the West Brom players when they sang the ’12 Days of Christmas’ lately, but thankfully Shane Long was on hand to salvage it to a certain extent with his delivery of the line ‘Five Shane Long goals’.
It was certainly better than the pithy attempts at singing by Morgan Amalfitano and Gareth McAuley amongst others and while Boaz Myhill clearly can’t hold a note either, at least he made a bit of an effort.
Time to hand out a few lessons Shane, we think, ‘Wonderwall’ might be a good place to start.
