It seems that Steve Bruce is still a Manchester United fan at heart.
The Hull City manager was giving a press conference after his side’s win over West Brom when he caught sight of Rooney’s spectacular effort against West Ham, which was playing live in the background.
Bruce’s reaction is priceless from around 53 seconds in.
“What a goal. You’ve gotta see that. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. You’re never gonna see anything like it again,” he rambled.
“Wait till you see this. That’s more important than me. Wait till you see this. Wow. It’s a Beckham. It’s another Beckham one. [Long pause] Awwww, no! Look at the goalie! He’s run the wrong way.
