Arsenal fans might be disappointed to learn that the clips featured are during his time with the New York Red Bulls but this is still pretty cool.
You may have seen something similar with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the recent past and now Thierry Henry has had some of his best moments immortalised through the magic of flipbook.
We say best moments but that’s exaggerating things just a little bit as every highlight featured in the flipbook reel comes from his time in the MLS with the New York Red Bulls and only Henry fanatics can claim to have followed that part of his career with any great degree of interest.
As a result, there are no clips from his time with Arsenal, Barcelona, Monaco, Juventus and France, of course, although we’d probably attempt to burn the flipbook if they tried to include THAT handball in Paris four years ago.
The hip-hop background music and the combination of real-time and animated clips makes for a lovely little tribute and we would advocate more of the world’s finest footballers being given similar treatment in the future.
