If you ever needed convincing that practise makes perfect…

Some pundits will have you believe that the tiki-taka, possession-based style of play that has brought Spain such success on the international stage in recent years is a little outdated at this stage, but Vicente del Bosque’s side will be striving to prove otherwise at the World Cup this month.

As you might imagine, the end product they produce on the pitch is the result of a lot of work on the training ground and a video that surfaced online of Spain’s pre-World Cup preparations today illustrates the amount of effort that goes into it in the first place.

The frightening thing for any opposition sides watching is that as well as having to try and get the ball back off that lot, the goals will be about ten times bigger when David Silva, Iniesta and company take to the field in Brazil.

Impressive stuff.
