A new advert promoting safe sex among senior citizens in the US is perhaps the most disturbing thing we've seen all year. Do you dare take a look?

The advert from SafeSex4Seniors.org points out that in Florida alone, STDs among senior citizens have risen 71 per cent. Yet despite the important message some feel that the shock tactics belittle the cause.

"I think it looks like they're making fun of seniors, more than they're educating them," said Akila Gibbs, executive director of the Pasadena Senior Center told Fox News, while one Pasadena resident told the channel that "It's like you're watching old people have sex with their clothes on." For obvious reasons, the advert has gone viral extremely quickly, with opinions extremely divided on the effectiveness of the clip. Do you dare shock your eyeballs by comitting to having a gander?
