In case any further evidence was needed, it is hugely unpleasant to get a football in the head at full pelt. Unfortunately, that’s what happened to Jochem Jansen of FC Oss in a match against Jong Ajax, who was unaware that team mate and captain Marcel van der Sloot was about to absolutely fire a free kick up the pitch, and he was standing a bit too close for comfort.
Predictably enough, he goes straight to the ground, and he was in a bit of distress as the medical team came over to check him out and make sure everything was ok. He looks a bit woozy as he’s being led off the pitch, and we imagine he had a bit of a headache.
The only person who saw the funny side was van der Sloot, who had a bit of a chuckle afterwards.
