The art of defending is something that people sometimes don’t take too seriously. There’s a theory floating around that because the more technically gifted players are up at the other end of the pitch, the less talented lads resort to being a defender. We don’t agree but that sentiment is out there, there is skill in defending.
However, we reckon Yeovil Town may need to get someone who is familiar with the art in pronto if we are judging them on last night’s performance against Gillingham in the Capital One Cup.
