Pep Guardiola was downcast and, clearly, a million miles away despite Claudio Pizarro giving his side a 3-2 lead over Werder Bremen.
Guardiola's close friend Tito Vilanova, who worked under him before succeeding the former Spanish midfielder at Barcelona, passed away from cancer on Friday at the age of 45.
