Oh Iker...

Spain have been looking less and less like their superhuman selves in the last couple of years and their descent to mediocrity continued last night with a surprise 2-1 defeat away to Slovakia. This was their fourth defeat in their last six games and their first defeat in qualifying in over eight years. Iker Casillas had a moment to forget, misjudging Juraj Kucka's 30-yard free-kick which gave the hosts the lead. There is a bit of movement on the ball, but not a whole lot and you have to feel that it’s a big error from the Real Madrid goalkeeper. It’s schoolboy stuff and if you did that on a Sunday morning in the park playing for your local team, you would be rightly chastised and slagged by your mates. David de Gea must be licking his lips right now.
