By now, you’ve probably watched Robin van Persie’s goal over and over again and from a wide range of different angles and viewpoints, but let’s be honest, it never gets old does it?
You might think it’s impossible to improve on the original, but the Internet has come up trumps once again and the geniuses at ESPN have created a vine with Van Persie wearing a cape as he launched himself towards Daley Blind’s inch-perfect long ball and floated a wonderful header past Iker Casillas.
A little crude perhaps, but Van Persie looking like some sort of superhero is still brilliant all the same. Feck off Batman, it’s Robin’s time to shine.
