Sky pundits Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher regularly win praise from the football community for their punditry skills, but another man from the Sky stable, Paul Merson, provides at least as much entertainment as his more feted colleagues, even if it’s for completely different reasons.
To be fair, Merson does come out with some great one-liners every so often, but it’s the things he says that don’t really make sense that command most attention and last night, during coverage of Arsenal v West Ham at the Emirates, he seemed to know what he wanted to say (we think he was on about the Arsenal ‘Invincibles’ side) but he just couldn’t get it out.
We hear ya Merse, loud and clear.
