A mix of weather lies ahead for the weekend.
Met Éireann has warned that there are big changes in weather coming this weekend.
While sunny spells are promised between showers, a ‘dull and damp’ weekend lies ahead.
The national forecaster said that the country’s weather will turn more unsettled with showers prominent over the coming days.
Today will have some sunny spells; however, it is set to be showery with a chance of thunder.
Thursday will be similar, with scattered showers ahead of a wet and windy Friday.
Alan O’Reilly from Carlow Weather took to X to warn anyone who was fancying some summer camping this weekend, saying, ‘bring all the pegs.’
Unfortunately, things don’t look brighter for the weekend, with Saturday also full of scattered rain and drizzle.
Met Éireann has further said that Sunday will be the beginning of another unsettled few days into early next week.
Good stuff…
