Juventus fined €5,000 after rowdy school kids curse at opposition goalkeeper

Wait until their mothers hear what they have been up to.

Considering all the shenanigans that has engulfed Italian football in recent years, a fine for school raucous kids cursing every time Udinese goalkeeper Zeljko Brkic took a kick-out seems rather innocuous.

Probably a little down the scale from racism and match-fixing, the Old Lady has been hit with a fine after 12,000 kids were constantly shouting “Oooooooooooooh Merda’ for each Udinese goal-kick. In case your Italian is a little rusty, that translates into “Ooooooooooooh shi*”. Origianal, we’ll grant them that.

“For a club such as Juventus where everything is beautiful, in particular where the stadium gives you the idea that you are not in Italy, it is really troublesome to hear those words every time the goalkeeper puts the ball into play,” Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin told Italian media.

Well the trouble has been dealt with for now, and our guess is that there are quite a few mothers in Turin who are not best pleased with their children.
