Well holy sh*tbuckets, that was some episode.
Following last night’s incredible climax in which The Mountain (almost-NFL star Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson) faced off (subtle pun intended) against The Viper, Prince Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascal), we here at JOE HQ are still reeling as we come to terms with the facial fallout of the brutal battle.
And if you, like JOE, have been keeping right up to date with all that’s happening in the latest season of Game Of Thrones, then we’re sure that you’re also eagerly awaiting any shneakyweaky sneak peek that you can get your Hodor-sized hands on ahead of new episodes.
Although we’re slightly behind our lucky friends in the United States, the good news is that the teaser trailer for Episode 9, ‘Watchers On The Wall,’ has been released. As ever, we can’t wait to see the episode in full next week on Irish TV but, BE WARNED, make sure you’re on the correct episode before watching the spoilerific clip.
As fans of the show will know, Episode 9 of any season of Game Of Thrones always manages to step it up a level and, from the cracking clip below, it looks like we’re about to have the eagerly-anticpated Crows vs Wildlings battle and, more specifically, Jon Snow vs ex-lover Ygritte conflict that the writers have been building up to all season. Even more exciting though, keep an eye out for the tree trunk-like legs of those hugemungous, human-crushing, angry giants…
