F1 cars currently use 13-inch rims with massive bulky tyres, but bosses at Pirelli have decided to make the change to bigger tyres as part of an evaluation to see whether F1 should adopt a different size for the 2017 season.
Lotus recently tweeted out a picture of the two different tyre sizes side-by-side and we have to say, we think bigger definitely looks better. However, as the old saying goes, “size doesn’t matter; it’s how you use it that counts”.
