How many cars do you people need?
Clarkson, who is notorious for being sacked by the BBC after striking Irish producer Oisin Tymon, has landed himself an outrageous amount of money to spend on his new show.
The new show, which he will present with his former-Top Gear partners Richard Hammond and James May, will be given, wait for it, €227 million to spend on stunts, cars and whatever the hell else they want to make their new programme as successful as the beloved Top Gear.
The show, which is as-yet unnamed, will begin its broadcasting run in the autumn of 2016, so Amazon would want to start saving up now in order to give the lads their pocket money.
Of course, for that money they could scrap the whole car theme and buy a few planes instead with enough money left over to sign Raheem Sterling as the show’s fourth host.
Here’s exclusive footage of Clarkson breaking the news to Richard Hammond.
