A timely reminder that we shouldn’t be so quick to judge others.
The simple reality is that most of us are not part of the Irish army, and with that in mind, could probably do with thinking twice before we try to tell them how to do their jobs.
One particular soldier came in for criticism from many online yesterday after he was spotted talking on the phone during a speech by President Michael D. Higgins.
A statement released by the Irish Defence Forces clarified that he is a press officer, and was in the middle of performing his duties.
More photos of the soldier have now surfaced, showing him very much ‘doing his job.’
