It looked like serious, serious craic…
We’re no good at judging the size of crowds, but there must have been about 17 million of them there suppin’ cans on Saturday.
OK, that might be somewhat of a Father Ted fuelled exaggeration, but there was certainly plenty of people down by the canal in Dublin enjoying the sun.
As is always the way, people congregate around The Barge pub and in the Portobello area at the first sign of sunlight, and boy did they congregate yesterday.
But of course, there wasn’t just drinking going on as people tried to cross the canal on a wire… with very mixed results.
