Kit Harrington makes an interesting prediction on who will win the Game Of Thrones

Maybe Jon Snow does know something after all…

We’re down to HOURS now before the seventh (and penultimate) season kicks off, and fans are reaching feverish levels of anticipation.

With the Lannisters, the Targaryens, the Tyrells, the Martells, the Starks, the Snows and on and on and on doing their best to take their place at the head of the table, we can pretty much guarantee that not all of these players will be still be in the game come the end of this season.

Actually, if you remember how Cersei capped off Season 6, by wiping out 90% of her enemies (and about as many of her own followers) in one big green explosion, you can expect those kind of massacres to only grow in size and the series continues to barrel towards the finale.

Well, with all that in mind, Kit “You know nothing, Jon Snow” Harrington spoke to the Wall Street Journal about how he sees it all playing out.

So what did he reckon? The obvious choice of Daenerys? Maybe himself? Nope, he went with the wild card:

“Tyrion. Personally, I don’t really tell people my theories about things, but I think it could be — it’s not exactly going to be Tyrion, but I think it could be Tyrion. I think he’s, it almost all started with Tyrion like he’s not the obvious choice. The obvious choice is Daenerys, possibly Jon Snow.”

“But Tyrion has always been, I almost view the world through Tyrion. Like he seems to be separate from it like he sees it for the way it is. He seems almost to see that it is a fantasy, he’s the person who seems most grounded, most real. He’s also got the nose for it. I just like him, I’ve always liked him as a character, and the way Peter [Dinklage] portrays him so beautifully.”

So what do you reckon?

Has Tyrion got a chance? Considering how many times he really should have died already, we’re surprised he’s made it this far, so why not make it all the way??
