We all know that Game Of Thrones isn’t real, right?
Like, we’re aware of that fact, yes?
Because some people seem to have having trouble processing that.
As much as we all love it, it is fictional (the dragons are a bit of a giveaway), but one of the actors in the show has found that his recent actions in the show have had some real life consequences.
As per usual, only continue if you are totally up to date with the show, or don’t care about being on the receiving end of spoilers…

As we mentioned in our 17 things you may have missed piece, Bronn takes on Drogon and manages to take him out of the sky, thanks to a giant metal arrow. It was an amazing scene and Jerome Flynn (who plays Bronn) absolutely nailed it (pun slightly intended).
However, because people love Dany and her dragons and seem to have a real problem differentiating reality from make-believe, they’re now giving him the cold shoulder.
Jerome Flynn told HBO’s Making Game Of Thrones (via Mashable):
“I was surprised when I was watching it. I spent weeks on that sequence, but I was on the edge of my seat, the adrenaline was running — they really nailed it. Although since the day the battle aired, I’ve been a little unpopular, I have to say. My postman won’t speak to me because I shot the dragon.”
And in case you thought the giant Scorpion crossbow was just a bit of televisual magic, think again, as Flynn continues:
“Yes, I shot that thing, so it was real. It was all part of the sequence and training. The armourers on this show are just geniuses, and they try to make everything as authentic as possible. It’s probably the coolest weapon I’m going to get to play with.”
Awesome.
But please remember, none of this is real.
We’ve met the actor who played King Joffrey and he’s actually one of the nicest people we’ve met, so don’t believe everything you see.
Especially when it comes to dragons.
