After years of construction, Dublin’s Luas Cross City is set to open on Saturday.
The Gardaí have taken to Twitter to ask motorists to be mindful when it comes to getting in the way of the newly expanded tracks.
Drivers have been warned not to pull into yellow box junctions while waiting to turn, as halting there could potentially get in the way of an oncoming Luas.
In a tweet, the Gardaí have written: “Luas cross city starts saturday. Drivers pls pls do not block stop in a yellow box junction. You could be delaying up to 300 passengers.”
