Shocking stuff.
Footage has emerged of England rugby coach Eddie Jones being subjected to verbal abuse as he exited a train station in Manchester on Sunday.
Footage posted on Twitter by Dan Roan of the BBC shows Jones posing for photographs with four men outside a train station in Manchester, where Jones had travelled to from Edinburgh to watch Manchester United take on Chelsea at Old Trafford as a guest of Sir Alex Ferguson.
After posing for the photograph, the fans began to hurl insults at Jones as he entered a waiting car, calling him a “fu**ing c**t”, an “English bastard” (Jones is Australian) and roaring “Scotland, Scotland” in the wake of the Scots’ victory over England in the Six Nations a day previous.

Before video footage of the incident emerged, according to the BBC, Jones said he would no longer travel by public transport after being subjected to abuse, with a further incident allegedly taking place when Jones travelled from Manchester to London later in the day.
Asked if the abuse was physical or verbal, Jones replied: “A bit of both.”
“I’m a human being. I don’t consider myself any different from anyone else, so for me to travel on public transport I thought was OK,” Jones said.
“I can’t because it was shown what happens when I do. That’s the world we live in. I was massively surprised. It wasn’t comfortable.”
In a statement, Scottish Rugby said it was “appalled” by the verbal abuse suffered by Jones and hit out at the “disgusting behaviour” of those involved.
Scottish Rugby is appalled by the verbal abuse suffered by Eddie Jones. The disgusting behaviour of those involved does not represent the values of our sport or its fans. The dignity Eddie and the England team showed on Saturday is in stark contrast to this ugly incident.
