Is it you?

Somebody from Cork – or at least someone who visited there recently – only has one week left to claim their €1,000,000 EuroMillions prize before the cash expires.

And no, we weren’t entirely aware that €1,000,000 could do that either and yet, here we are.

The lucky ticket was bought in Eason’s at the Wilton Shopping Centre in Cork on the day of the draw, February 23.

But now almost three months since the prize was won, whoever accidentally became a millionaire needs to step their game up if they want to see any of their money.

Thursday 24 May is the last day that the €1,000,000 can be claimed from EuroMillions.

The unknown Cork player was the only Irish winner that day and their unique raffle code was I-DKB-06633.

Lotto chief Dermot Griffin is urging people to check their pockets, bags, and around the place to see if they have the winning ticket.

He said:

“We are urging all of our players to cast their mind back to Friday 23rd February because there is a life-changing €1 million EuroMillions prize still waiting to be claimed.

“I am calling on all of all of our players to double-check their homes, pockets, handbags and cars for a EuroMillions ticket which could be worth an incredible €1 million.”

Ticket holders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize in person at National Lottery Headquarters on Abbey Street in Dublin.

Tickets can be checked on the lotto app or in store.
