The conservation order will be put into effect in the Greater Dublin Area from Monday 2 July.
Ten thousand consumers are without water in County Kerry due to a burst water main in the centre of Killarney.
Irish Water confirmed to RTE News that the water main from Sheheree to Coolcorcoran burst on Park Road, close to Aldi and Tesco supermarkets.
The water soon flooded the main roads, as well as a local commercial park, where it flooded the basement.
Gardaí have also closed access to the road from the Park Road roundabout leading into Deerpark as the road is now entirely impassable due to flooding.

Irish Water and Kerry County Council are currently working to fix the burst water main as soon as they possibly can, with the hopes to have the full water supply back to normal by tomorrow (Monday) morning.
However, Monday morning will see Dublin facing a water shortage, as Irish Water announced that in response to the urgent need to conserve water, a Water Conservation Order in the Greater Dublin Area with take effect.
This essentially means that there is a hosepipe ban across the capital until 31 July, and anyone found to be using one will be subject to a €125 fine.
