Oh, the wonders of live television.
Never work with children or animals on live television the saying goes. But even then, when things are live, things aren’t always going to go to plan.
Poor Siobhán Ryan was presenting the weather and obviously RTÉ were experiencing some technical difficulties.
She began her broadcast but things clearly didn’t go to plan.

She gave herself a mid broadcast pep talk saying, “keep the sentences short” and went on to nail it.
All of this happened live on air, so fair play to her for pulling it together where others may have been flustered.
It’s not the first time a minor blunder has been made on RTÉ’s News and Weather, Aengus Mac Grianna became a beloved figure in Irish households thanks to a couple of high profile mishaps while presenting.
We miss his presence on our screens terribly.
