This was always going to be good.
Dave Chappelle has a strict “no phones” policy for his live performances these days, so it’s unlikely we’ll ever see footage from what went down in the 3Arena last night.
But if we’re to take social media’s word for it, both Chappelle and Jon Stewart utterly killed it in Dublin last night. Not only that, but they were joined by their fellow comedian Michelle Wolf to sweeten the deal even further.
In an interesting format, Stewart and Chappelle took the stage together to riff off one another, and were joined by Wolf at the end.
Jon Stewart is best known for his time as host of The Daily Show, a satirical news show that he hosted throughout the Bush and Obama administrations. Wolff now hosts The Break with Michelle Wolf, a comedy talk show on Netflix.
Chappelle, of course, is a legendary comedian at this stage — and is currently enjoying a resurgence in popularity, having released four Netflix specials in the past year.
By the sound of things, the trio were well worth the money.

There are funny and clever comedians. But if you're lucky once a generation you get to see a genius. Tonight I got to see two. Dave Chappelle and Jon Stewart were stunning.
