Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Robert De Niro were among those who were sent suspicious devices in the past couple of days.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of sending explosive devices to a number of high-profile people this week.
All of those who were targeted were outspoken critics of President Donald Trumps.
According to CNN, the man in his 50s, who has been named by officials as Cesar Sayoc, was arrested in Florida on Friday.
Since his arrest, images have surfaced of Sayoc’s van, which featured a number of images of Donald Trump.
His van also had disturbing stickers which showed Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama with targets on their heads.

Trump has gathered attention for his tweets about the situation, where he seemed to imply that the real issue here was that voting may slow up for republicans…
Republicans are doing so well in early voting, and at the polls, and now this “Bomb” stuff happens and the momentum greatly slows – news not talking politics. Very unfortunate, what is going on. Republicans, go out and vote!

According to The Guardian, Trump has since condemned the acts, and has confirmed that the man had been taken into custody, saying:
“These terrorizing acts are despicable and have no place in our country,” President Trump said in remarks at the White House.
“We will prosecute them, him, her, whoever it may be to the fullest extent of the law”.
