Gardaí investigating the suspected theft of over 100 sheep in Meath

Investigations are ongoing.

The exact number of livestock has yet to be confirmed, but it is reported that Gardaí are looking into over 100 sheep being stolen from a farm in the north-west of Meath.

Speaking to JOE, Gardaí confirmed that they are investigating the suspected theft of a large amount of livestock from a farm in the Mountnugent area of County Meath.

The suspected theft allegedly occurred between the morning of Monday 10 June 2019 and the morning of Thursday 13 June.

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone who noticed any suspicious activity during those times, or who can help in any way, to contact Kells Garda Station on 046 9240999.
