Dublin Fire Brigade have issued a warning to people regarding their washing machine and tumble dryer, following an incident in Dublin on Saturday.
They urged people not to leave their machines on unattended, as an incident overnight resulted in a fire which caused smoke damage throughout the home.
They shared images from the incident on their Twitter account on Sunday afternoon, which you can see here:

And even though it is a lovely day out there, we must remember that with great weather comes great responsibility.
They also shared images of a grass fire in Donabate that they tended to overnight, as they warned that vegetation is dry given the hot weather.

They said that fires like the above can be quite common during dry spells.
