The couple were aged between their late 70s and early 80s.
An elderly couple have been found dead in unexplained circumstances at a house outside Kenmare in Kerry.
Local Gardaí were contacted around midday, and the house in Dromneavane has since been cordoned off.
The State Pathologist’s Office has also been notified.
An investigation is ongoing, and the deaths are being treated as unexplained. A post-mortem examination is due to take place on Monday (15 November).
