Perry’s co-stars are reported to have gathered together.
Matthew Perry’s family and friends – including his co-stars from hit US sitcom Friends – gathered together as they mourned the actor’s tragic death, according to reports.
Multiple outlets state that Perry’s funeral was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles on Friday (3 November), not far away from where he and his fellow stars filmed Friends for 10 years.
TMZ reports that the funeral ceremony was an intimate event with around 20 people and that Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc were all present.
The news outlet also says Perry’s father John Bennett Perry, mother Suzanne Morrison and stepfather Keith Morrison were also in attendance.

Perry, who played fan favourite Chandler Bing on the iconic sitcom, passed away last weekend at the age of 54.
In a joint statement released to the BBC after his death, the cast of Friends said his death was an “unfathomable loss”.
“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew,” it also read.
“We were more than just castmates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time we will say more, as and when we are able.
“For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”
In the wake of Perry’s passing, Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman also recalled the last conversation she had with the actor just two weeks ago, stating that it was “great” and that he was “happy and chipper.”
“He didn’t seem weighed down by anything. He was in a really good place, which is why this seems so unfair,” she told Today.
