There are countless videos of weight lifting fails on YouTube, but how many of them would have been avoided with a device like this?

Here in JOE, we actually don't use the bench press that much as we prefer to concentrate on gaining mass in our arms, curls are for the girls after all. But on the rare occasion we use the bench, it's easy to see the dangers associated with the exercise. One guy learned the hard way after he tired during a rep and was unable to get the weight off him, it inspired him to create the Maxx Bench which is the first ever gravity release bench press.
