These are the free subscription games coming to PlayStation and Xbox in July

Seven games across the two platforms to play for the next 31 days or so…

Six months into the year, and we’ve had some great new games in 2021 already. But if you’ve got either the PS Plus or the Xbox Games With Gold, then you’re about to get a host of free games via those subscriptions for the month of July.

If you’ve already got PS Plus and Xbox Games with Gold, you’ve still got a few days to download the games from June, but these are the ones you can expect to get as part of your subscription in July.

PS Plus (from 6 July to 2 August):

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (PS5 / PS4)

Official Synopsis: “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 delivers a trio of action-packed multiplayer-modes* for first-person shooter fans. First there’s the series’ iconic multiplayer experience pitting players against each other worldwide. Second, is the fan-favourite Zombies experience, letting you and friends battle the undead. WWE 2K Battlegrounds (PS5 / PS4)

A Plague Tale: Innocence (PS5)

Follow the tale of young Amicia and her little brother Hugo, in a heartrending journey through the darkest hours of history. Xbox Games with Gold:

Planet Alpha (1 July – 31 July)

Rock Of Ages 3: Make & Break (16 July – 15 August)

Official Synopsis: “Jump into a sprawling, gut-busting story featuring bizarre and absurd takes on legendary characters. Design, build, and share your custom levels with friends in this Monty Python-esque tower defence and arcade game.”

Conker: Live & Reloaded (1 July – 15 July)

Official Synopsis: “Back with a hangover and a heavy dose of attitude, play gaming’s notorious squirrel, Conker, through a raunchy world full of twisted characters, innuendos, and outrageous movie parodies.”

Midway Arcade Origins (16 July – 30 July)

Official Synopsis: “With more than 30 timeless entries from the golden age of arcade gaming, relive your childhood or discover classic games for the first time, such as Defender, Gauntlet, Rampart, and more. No quarters needed to play!”
