Spider-Man 2

Now we know when we’ll playing one of most anticipated games of 2023.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be following on from the events of 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man and 2020’s Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, two of the very best action games of the last few years. We’ve known for a while now that the sequel would be arriving some time in 2023, but we finally have confirmation of an exact release date.

The sequel will allow players to control both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, each imbued with a unique power and skill set, as Peter has become attached to the symbiote Venom (although how that has come to be currently remains a mystery), while Miles has continued to hone his electrical abilities.

The actual plot for the game is still being kept a closely guarded secret, but we do know that Peter and Miles will be facing off against Kraven The Hunter and The Lizard, as well as the aforementioned Venom, who will be voiced by Candyman himself Tony Todd.

The confirmed release date for Spider-Man 2 was announced announced during the Summer Games Fest this week, which also revealed the full breakdown of what you can expect if you pre-order the game, from additional suits for the heroes all the way up to a 19-inch statue of the Spider-Men battling Venom. You can check out the full pre-order breakdown right here.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be available exclusively on the PlayStation 5 from Friday, 20 October.
