A classic 1980 Bentley Corniche Convertible will be one of the main attractions at an upcoming prestige car auction in Kildare.
The Merlin Car Auction Prestige Sale, set to take place in Naas on Wednesday, (6 October 2010) is expected to draw a large crowd of classic car fans from both Ireland and abroad.

The rare motor is a bronze two-door convertible with a tan leather interior, air conditioning and automatic transmission. The V8 6750cc engine is in immaculate condition with 45,586 miles on the clock from new.
Bidders will have a choice of 35 other prestige vehicles including Audis, BMW, Mercedes, Jaguars, Porches and a Rolls Royce Silver Spirit 11. Overall there will be more than 300 vehicles up for auction on the night including ex-finance vehicles, private entries and dealer part exchange.
Merlin O’Reilly, CEO of Merlin Car Auctions said of the upcoming auction, “Our prestige auctions are incredibly popular as we showcase luxury prestige cars at very reasonable prices. As a car lover myself, I will be very excited to see who bids for the classic Bentley. The car is a fantastic piece of workmanship and its owner obviously kept it in immaculate condition as it is incredibly rare.â€
