Here are the luckiest counties in Ireland to play the Lotto

Jammy feckers.

We really hope that the person who recently won €66m in the Euromillions is living a lavish life that would make Dan Bilzerian and P Diddy look like they’re two prudent grannies that are happy to save their money for a rainy day.

Like many of you, if we won the Lotto then we would probably making it rain more often than the wettest Irish winter.

It seems that some counties are luckier than most after The National Lottery released this list that details just how many winning jackpot tickets have been sold in each county over the last thirty years.

Unsurprisingly Dublin came out on top – well d’uh because it has the highest population – but the average ratio of winning tickets relative to population is pretty interesting. ‘The Wee County’ of Louth has the fifth highest amount of Lotto winners so that’s got a fairly good chance of being the luckiest county, you can do the math on your own one to see just how lucky you are.

Kildare, Tipperary, Wexford and Donegal also have very impressive ratios. Take a look.
