Here we have a pretty shocking video of what’s left of a Ferrari F430 after it collided with a tree in Greece.

Being a shipping tycoon means you have a bit of spare cash to spend as frivolously as you want. However, the thing that they forget to tell you when you’re buying a Ferrari F430 is that common sense is not included.

According to witnesses on the scene the driver is suspected to be wealthy ship owner I. Leontidis. While driving outside of Athens in his native Greece, Leontidis decided to open up his F430 on a rain-slicked road when the worst happened.

His car left the road and hit a tree in the median section of the motorway. His car was a total write off, obviously, but Leontidis can thank Lady Luck, as both he and his male passenger survived.

A local news outlet, Vimaonline, managed to capture this video showing what is left of the F430 after the crash and the subsequent fire.

It’s almost unbelievable that someone managed to survive this crash.
