IKEA respond brilliantly to that $2,150 handbag that is basically just their carrier bag

You might remember this story for a few days ago…

Basically, fashion powerhouse Balenciaga debuted their new handbag, and many, MANY people quickly noticed the similarities between it and the regular IKEA carrier bag.

In fact, the biggest difference was that the fashionable bag was around $2,150, while IKEA’s carrier bag retails at $0.90.

Well, IKEA being IKEA, they never let a good opportunity to be funny pass them by, and just about our international point for the company weighed in with a humorous statement or image…

IKEA Hong Kong said: “Sturdy, classy, and now a fashion baby. We love FRAKTA blue bags for so many reasons, now we got you more ideas to use and reuse our blue bags.”
