The controversial comedian really doesn’t give a sh*t.
He offended pretty much everyone during his most recent stint at the Golden Globes. It made for great viewing, but a lot of people were also quite annoyed.
Certain jokes at the expense of the likes of Caitlyn Jenner, Roman Polanski and Mel Gibson were seen as a step too far by many, but The Office creator has stood steadfastly by them all.
Gervais has responded on his Twitter account and it turns out (if you didn’t already know) that he really, really doesn’t care what you think.

Like him or hate him, the fact that he doesn’t buy into the idea of “celebrity” is noteworthy at the very least, and his liberal attitude towards comedy is arguably positive for the art itself.
