You’ve always wanted to see a flowing mane of hair playing Huey Lewis songs on the keyboard, right?
Old Spice have definitely positioned themselves in the ‘quirky’ end of the spectrum when it comes to advertising, as we’ve already seen with a couple of their slightly odd ads that feature some guy’s hair walking off his head and picking up women in a business meeting. Not your every day stuff, but it did happen to us once back in ’97… long story.
Anyway, they’ve decided to keep that theme running in their latest ad which features another man with powerful locks that have special powers, and this time it’s the ability to play any song from Huey Lewis’ impressive back catalogue of hits on the keyboard. Don’t believe us? Then here’s the video to prove it. Stick with it until it asks you to type in any song of your choice, and you won’t be disappointed.
‘Hip to be Square’ is the big hit that you might recognise, but if you want to be really moved and feel the music, then may we suggest ‘Power of Love’? We don’t know about you, but we’re liking these Old Spice guys more and more.
