The world’s most expensive beer has gone on sale

JOE

If you’re the sort of person who complains about having to pay £4 for a pint, look away now.

Because one brewery in Canada is charging $1,000 for a bottle of its latest creation. That’s nearly €700.

Ancient mammoth tusk ivory is used in the bottle itself, although we’re not sure how good it makes the beer taste.

It’s not often a beer will cost a comparable amount to a flight from Dublin Airport.
