This is wonderful.
Given the year that’s in it, a lot of young kids will probably be asking their parents all about 1916 and its gory details as we approach Easter.
Realistically, a lot of those parents aren’t going to want to have their children sit through the execution scene in Michael Collins, so it’s good news that the lads from Sundays Well Primary School in North Cork have put together a more child-friendly retelling of the historic events.
The third class boys from the school pieced together an excellent Lego version of the Easter Rising that will definitely make you wonder why you weren’t this creative as a child. Check it out:
