Video: Gone in seven seconds – Rubik’s Cube World Champion blitzes competition

Feliks Zemdegs was crowned the Rubik’s Cube World Champion and he made light work of the challenge, with his fastest effort clocking in at 7.36 seconds.

Feliks Zemdegs was crowned the Rubik’s Cube World Champion and he made light work of the challenge, with his fastest effort clocking in at 7.36 seconds.

The 17 year-old Australian was part of the 500 strong field competing in the three day event in Las Vegas and he completed the task quicker than anyone else.

Zemdegs won the title after scoring a fastest average time of 8.18 seconds for solving the 3×3 cube and achieving the fastest solve of 7.36 seconds.

An incredible time it has to be said, which would beat the JOE office record by two days and 14 hours.

Not only that, he also won the 4×4 and One Handed 3×3 challenges.
