Video: Irish Dad uses a remote-controlled drone to remove his son’s loose tooth

Granted, it’s a little but unconventional, but hey, it worked.

Maybe it’s just us but although we never actually had to go through the process, we seem to remember our parents scaring us with threats to remove a loose tooth by tying a string to a door knob and slamming it shut, thereby using the force of the swinging door to remove the messy molar.

That might have been well and good 20 years ago, but in an age where technology is king, parents are now looking for more modern ways to perform some home dentistry in an effort to avoid, you know, actually going to the dentist.

One Irish Dad mixed a little bit of old methodology with a new technique by keeping faith with a piece of string, but attaching it to a remote controlled drone helicopter instead of a door knob, and by gum it worked a treat, as was evident in the video he posted to LiveLeak afterwards.

Granted, it’s not something you’ll see every day and it’s an approach that would probably be frowned upon by a few parents but we’d certainly prefer it to the swinging door technique and that’s the tooth.
