We’re not public transport experts here at JOE, but we’re pretty sure this shouldn’t happen to any driver’s steering wheel while they’re on the road…
A YouTube user who goes by the name Hanhans B uploaded the clip above to the video sharing site and it features a public bus in Malta that might be getting just a little bit too old for the fleet.
As you’ll see in the short clip, the steering wheel of the bus starts out looking fairly loose, but the driver – who’s probably used to this sort of thing – still managed to navigate a roundabout without much hassle.
However, it doesn’t take long before the wheel becomes dislodged from its mount, and it also appears like the steering wheel’s airbag was removed. We wonder what health and safety have to say about this one…
